Samtskhe-Javakheti State University has organized orientation meetings for freshmen for the new academic year 2020-2021 during the 15th, 16th and 17th of September 2020.
Freshmen of all four faculties got informed about the university life, student services, LMS system and other issues. Within the orientation meetings SJSU INTEGRITY team presented the principles of academic integrity, how to avoid plagiarism and what is the purpose of Turnitin.
Orientation meetings on the topic of academic integrity has established as a tradition at Samtskhe-Javakheti State University. All freshmen are informed about the project INTEGRITY, plagiarism in academia and how the ways to prevent it.
ERASMUS+ CBHE project INTEGRITY is the first national project in Georgia which promoted the concept of academic integrity at university society. SJSU is one of the consortium members.
