
On February 4-6 the series of trainings were held for the representatives of consortium member HEIs within the framework of Promoting High-quality Digital Education in Georgia (PRODIGE) implemented under the Erasmus + Institutional Development Program.
T2.1: Samtskhe-Javakheti State University was represented by Tea Tatenashvili, Irakli Khachidze and Tamar Kapanadze at the 3-day training about digital education in the higher education
- The training was facilitated by Tallin Technological University representatives
- The topic of the training: understanding of digital education characteristics, opportunities and challenges
- The flexibility, accessibility and scale of digital education
- Artificial Intelligence, AR/VT and adaptive teaching approaches
- Best international practices and their adaption to the Georgian context
- Regulations, quality assurance and the vision for strategic development
It was the first introductory meeting under the project followed by the additional activities, including trainings, job shadowing, policy development and other activities, supporting to digital education development in Georgia.
The project is supported by Estonian quality and international accreditation agency and the network of the universities, the National Center for Quality Enhancement under the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, 10 Higher Educational Intuitions of Georgia and the partner educational organizations from Belgium, Estonia, Spain and Croatia are involved in the project. The project is coordinated by EFMD.
