On October 5th, 2020 Ilia State University organized the first international conference on academic integrity in the framework of the ERASMUS + CBHE project INTEGRITY.
Representatives of Georgian and foreign higher education institutions took part in the conference.
The conference began with the signing of Declaration on Academic Integrity. By signing the declaration 12 authorized higher education institutions in Georgia, which are also consortium members of INTEGRITY confirmed that they will help to adhere to the principles of academic integrity in order to improve the quality of education.
Professor Tina Gelashvili, Institutional Coordinator at SJSU, made a presentation on the following topic – “Curriculum Development to Improve Academic Integrity”.
On October 6th, the last, 4th meeting of the consortium was held within the framework of Erasmus + CBHE project INTEGRITY. Representatives of 12 Georgian and 4 European partner universities, including Samtskhe-Javakheti University, attended the final consortium meeting.
The purpose of the meeting was to present the results achieved and discuss future plans.
