Scientific Library of Samtskhe-Javakheti State University conducts information meetings with students.

On November 5th, a meeting was held with freshmen specializing in public administration at the Faculty of Law. At the meeting, Khatuna Kvintskhadze, Technical Director of the Scientific Library, introduced the library services and the means of their use to the students.

Students were provided with information about the library service. Currently, all digitized resources are available from all computers in the Science Library. Open access e-books and their search engine were displayed on the university website.

Guidelines and instructions designed for the use of international scientific databases were presented.

Among other important issues, students were informed about the EU-funded ERASMUS + CBHE project INTEGRITY and a special plagiarism detection program (Turnitin) implemented within the framework of INTEGRITY.

Students received brief information on plagiarism and mechanisms to prevent it.

These meetings will continue for all faculty students and stakeholders.
